Day 2 Sunday at Magic Kingdom
We made it before the gates opened, Sage was so cute waving at all the charachters!
Mavery, on the other hand, was already in a mood. Have I mentioned that Mavery does not do heat? Or lines. Or alot of things?

First ride of the day, Dumbo! The little girls were so excited to get on those flying elephants!

Peter Pan, Sage=Ears Covered

Have to make fun on the slow horses!
Grammy made al the fun clothes!
Grammy insisted Saywer have a goofy hat just like I got on my first trip to Disney!
Watching the show in front of the castle, princess included!

As we got off Pirates of the Carribean, our own little pirates.

Day 2 and we were at the park for opening. HOT, really really hot. Part of the reason we do not EVER do Disney in the summer is 1. The heat. 2. The crowds. What do you know, we still get both! Originally we thought we would wait till November for this trip. Then we saw they offered free dining so we jumped on that. Which they have now extended to December. Figures. Ah well what do you do for a trip that is FREE all the way around? Can't complain to much. Lunch today at Caseys Hotdogs on main street, which we found very yummy!
My parents (who are so awesome and helpful!) took the little girls while we rode some of the afternoon w/ the big kids. They came back SO excited because they got to see the Princess! Very bummed I missed out but we do get 2 meals w/ them so I will get to be in on the fun. Grammy said it was the cutest thing ever as they were full of smiles and giggles and hugs. Grammy & Papa treated them to face paintings and got the fun of Mavery deciding she was done with Disney I guess as she peed EVERYWHERE! Glad to know that Disney has not changed our little angel one little bit! ;-)
While we were on the water ride w/ our big kids, I was very thankful that I was not to soaked from the ride, since we were on our way to eat dinner right after. That is till we were waiting to get off the ride and the sky's opened up! AHHH! Soaked is an understatement.
We had dinner at The Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. Our 330 reservation was ready at 430. Not a good sign for free dining? Food was awesome though, love it there. Sage was beside herself with excitement to see Pooh and his friends. I hope to get the pictures up tonight, pure joy! Mavery did not like the charachters, though by the end would at least blow kisses from behind the table.
Another highlight is that our friends that we traveled to china with for Sage are here! We got to meet up with them for a few minutes and Sage & Evie were adorable. So excited to spend time with them this week!
Disney Day 1 Saturday
With Grammy & Papa in front of the castle at night.
Sopping wet but still smiling!
We left our house on Thursday about 10pm, Mark went to bed about 4:30, so he could sleep a few hours before heading out. Sage & Mavery fell asleep about 10:05 PM and slept till 6am! We stopped at Chick Filet (of course we did, any chance to eat there we jump at!) and they were back to sleep for a bit. We drove to Valdosta, Georgia for the night. My parents had Malaine & Sawyer with them, they did not leave till early friday morning and met us in Georgia.
Saturday we arrived to our hotel about 3pm. We are staying at the All Star Disney Music and I think it is great! It is one of their value hotels but works perfect for our large family. We have a bedroom, living room, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen area. I love that the bathrooms have curtains to close it off, so one is Maverys room! Very kid friendly everywhere.
We headed over to Magic Kingdom because, hey, we have 8 days of tickets and we are kind of just not smart that way. Dropped the luggage in the room and ran. HOT so hot, and pretty crowded. But we still had fun. Rode most of the things in fantasyland. Sage & Mavery were not a fan of the 3d show, and Sage nothing loud of course. She is so sensitive to loud sounds. But overall, everyone did great.
We have the FREE Disney Dining Plan which is SO great! We EACH get 1 sit down meal a day, 1 counter service meal a day, and a snack. PLUS those meals include our drink and dessert. We will be rolling out of Disney next weekend! ;-) For dinner that night we ate at Cosmic Rays, we eat there every trip. On our way out got stuck in parade traffic. And a downpour of rain. With 2 tired toddlers. Magical Times!

Catching Up and Packing Up!!
- I did not realize how far behind I am on my blog so be sure to scroll down through all my posts. Yes, I am on Facebook more now. And you to could be! ;-)
- Leaving for Disney in just TWO sleeps as the kids say!! I can't believe it is already here! I am very excited, but very nervous about the drive. We are driving all night so hopefully that will work for Ms Mavery.
- We are SOOO excited that our friends will be leaving for China SOON to bring home their new daughter! You can follow their blog off of my sidebar or go to www.ourgardenofeden.blogspot.com
- Yes, I will try to blog from Disney, of course. Just wait till you see my childrens wardrobe. Mark has said he feels like we are going to look as if we stepped right out of Enchanted. ;-) My amazing mother has been sewing her little heart out for MONTHS and I can't wait for you to see her creations!
- Little girls are doing GREAT in preschool!!
- We are all loving homeschool so far this year! For some reason things are going so much easier and calmer and quieter with out toddlers underfoot!
- I really really do appreciate all the sweet notes and prayers you all have sent me. We have our good days and our bad days. Been so busy here, which adds to stress, which results in some hard days. I am looking forward to us all being able to just go and relax. (YEAH a 2 day drive and walking around Disney RELAXING?? but oh the beach on the end, that will be wonderful!)
- We get to see some of our adoption friends while away, YEAH!
- Wanted to get the girls field trip up from last week. We went to Eckerts. Someday, but they were cute and Ms Jenny was so kind to go along to help me out!
- I think I am now caught up! Or as close as it gets. ;-)
Disney Countdown Finding Nemo!
Another of our countdowns was a Nemo day! We painted fish, watched the movie (one of my favorites!) and had a fun dinner with jellyfish overhead. We ate fish of course along w/ ocotdogs. Sandy beach aka stuffing. White pearls/hard boiled eggs. Goldfish. Blue lagoon jello. Green seaweed. Ocean Water to drink and of course sea cakes for dessert! We had lots more fun days planned, but they will have to be Disney recovery days!
