2 Weeks Down..

i can't stand not having her picture at the top of the blog! 2 weeks down since referral. How many days till we hear something? ANYTHING!! Please continue to pray for Sage, especially for her health. We are praying for updates. Greedy isn't it? 2 weeks ago we finally get her pictures, now we ask for more! But these pictures are so old, they were taken in April. I know babies change alot in 3 months. I would just like to see her now and especially to know that she is doing well. Our agency requests pictures and measurements , but never knows if they will get them.
We have Sage's crib up in our room. We are quickly filling it w/ all things China. I am supposed to pack light. And I am trying, really trying. But what if... Any tips on packing, PLEASE pass them on!

I really recommend packing light. Only take a few adult outfits. The laundry service is excellent and cheap. Trust me you can buy a lot of things as you go. I overpacked way too much. I would buy the diapers, wipes, formual, rice cereal, baby food there. The babies did seem to react to laundry done there -so I would concentrate more on packing her items. Air space saver bags worked GREAT!!

I have a million packing tips, but I think they all boil down to, identify the smallest suitcase you think you can fit what you need into, and then stick with it. Throw things off you list until you can pack comfortably in that suitcase. I have 21" carry on roller bag, and when it was full (because of how tightly I packed and the air space saver bags, I can barely lift it. I would never have been able to lift a larger bag!!!! I got great roomy roomy backpacks at Wal-mart. I agree with all the comments the previous poster left as well. If you want my packing list, let me know.
